Evidence: No drummer for several months, last drummer quit among public in-fighting, dropping out of high profile tour right before kickoff.
I didn't think they were calling it quits but those things had me worried about the future and honestly I still am. This announcement, while great, does nothing for me to cease my worries until I actually hear how they sound with the new drummer. |

I don't think it's him. Deryck Whibley said Stevo left because he wanted to focus on other responsibilities and was tired of touring. |

I'll be the first to admit that I was very sure this album wouldn't be coming out, and this is really good news, but until it's in my hands I'm still not certain.
However, you know as well as anyone else that participated in the other thread there were plenty of valid reasons for speculation and cause for concern as well as a pleasant, mature discussion that developed out of it. Just because you failed to participate or acknowledge the reasons people brought up for their concern, doesn't mean you should walk into other threads with your guns blazing ready to say "I told you so" like some sort of hero and say that there was "no evidence."
I think I'm more chapped that I actually typed out a response to that.
Anyways, hopefully recording starts soon, and hopefully the new drummer isn't as much of an "arm-flailer" as Jay was. It would be nice to see someone up there that plays as genuinely as Warren did. Can't wait to hear who it is.
