| One of my very favorites! It's not so much a fued as it is constructive criticism and jokes. They both have good points. If you look into the song Rock for Sustainable Capitalism and NOFX's One Celled Creature, you will get it. |

| I loved Propagandhi until I saw them live, then I didn't. ('Twas the 'anarchist book fair' table set up in the back of the room, and the smug superiority of everyone in the room, the band most of all, that did it for me.)
But "How To Clean Everything" is still awesome. |

| "SKA SUCKS!
SKA REVIVAL ISN'T COOL YOU STUPID... FUCKS!"
One of my favouritest bands. It's all about Today's Empires, if we're choosing a best album, although How To Clean Everything is their most punk rock. |

| Yeah definitely an awesome band. Spawned one of my favorite artists: John Samson. |

| Not that impressed with them really - they sound just like everyone else - the one song called 'citizen' or something is alright, but still, 'verse / chorus / verse' and preachy - like anti-flag - I feel like screaming 'GO PREACH TO YOUR FUCKING CHOIR!' |

They do. That's why seeing them live horrified me so much.
They are entertainers. Good entertainers, granted, but I hate it when a band thinks that by singing songs to a room full of drunk people and people too young to even vote that the world will suddenly change.
And let's face it - they're Canadian, and they only tour in Canada. No one cares, and pretending like a sold out show in Saskatoon is a movement doesn't make it so.
But I still love their music. God, "Less Talk More Rock" has such great lyrics. It's probably the most eloquent statement on sexuality ever made.
*EDIT* No, "eloquent" isn't the right word. At all. But it's a good "gay" song that isn't....well....gay.

Brilliantly put as always! I hate preachy punk, therefore I also hate Anti-Flag. They take themselves so seriously it's tragic. They make me cry. |

| I like Propagandhi, pretty much the only "political" band I can listen to and not get tired of. I also like Anti-Flag, but by the 10th song on their album I'm tired of the in your face message. At least Propagandhi are slightly more subtle.
I haven't seen them live so maybe my opinion would change after that.
How to Clean Everything and Less Talk More Rock are both amazing albums. |

| I find propagandhi's political lyrics just as effective as against me!'s. If you think they take themselves too seriously, you're crazy! Have you ever listened to the g7 podcasts? They were funny as hell! Also, watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3whyLFbLJXg |

| Propagandhi are a great band. and the preaching is because they believe in what they sing about more than most other modern punk bands... as you can see with there involvement with peta and amnesty international etc.
and less talk more rock isnt a statement on sexuality... its about the "tough punx" that come to there shows to not interested in the bands beliefs or lyrics just to be.. tough punxs...... thats why its funny to see them dancing along. to lyrics like these... "Cuz if you dance to this, then you drink to me and my sexuality. With your hands down my pants by transitive property."
i know music is different for everyone but i believe that punk music should be taking yourself seriously... but your right in the fact some anti flag is fucking cliche |
