Knowing someone for 15 years, and then reading something so utterly unexpected is weird.
Give wheover said that time to liek take it in. We are on this board because we eat, sleep, and breathe Against Me!, and now AM! is very clearly RADICALLY changing.

| weird may have been a poor choice of words. To most people transgender is confusing and incredibly unfamiliar. Maybe having someone like Tom Gabel can help them understand it better |

We can talk semantics and I'm not going to put words in anyone's mouths, but you're rationalizing what he said. If you eat, sleep, breathe Against Me, then I'd imagine you respect them, at least to some degree, as individuals. There's nothing harmful about what he's doing and it's not going to affect that poster or any of AM!'s fans. It's physiologically who Tom Gabel is. It is surprising no doubt, but that poster said "Being transgender is fucking weird," not "this news is weird/shocking" or whatever. If it just comes down to a flub of language, then fine, but it was a bullshit comment as is. |
