| The new album is a concept album about a transgendered prostitute. I'm just hoping this isn't some Ziggy Stardust shit. Very cruel if it is. |

| I registered just so I could express my total support here!
I haven't read the full article and I never was a fan of the band because I never really got to know it, but this news made me want to listen to their music more.
I find it really exciting, not only for her as a person who chooses to live out her desires and feelings fully and openly, but also for the punk hardcore scene as a whole. It's always been a predominantly male and kinda male-oriented, heterosexual-oriented environment and I think this news and the support everyone is showing can go a long way to change the general mentality for the better, and to make the scene an even freer, more open, supporting and positive environment for everyone! I know there's a lot more to coming out than making a statement, but I think a statement is being made, and a hell of a cool one!
Besides, I just think it's cool that there will be another cool girl in the scene soon! Welcome!!!!!!! Wishing you all the best. |

| Do you think they will stop playing a lot of old music? I mean if Kevin leaving the band discouraged Tom from playing old songs then transforming himself into another person might be the same deal. Leaving the old Tom behind. Mentally, I believe he will be a little different. I mean changing your name putting yourself in another state of mind. |

| seems like in the picture in the article she has banded out a lot more tattoos on her legs, wonder if that has to do with this. I knew he had on band of black on one of his legs but now four bands of blacking out tattoos??? or did he always have the four? |

| Kinda discredits the "Against Me! hasn't been the same since Tom moved center stage" argument. |

| Might be slightly off topic but I don't see how it's going to be a transgender concept album with songs like- Dead friends, two coffins, 500 years and Osama. |

| I always thought it was a guy in a dress. Maybe. Just maybe. As far as all of this goes, no care. Good for him/her. If thats the person Tom truly believes he is, then he is making the right choice by finally going for it. He'd be cheating himself to live a lie for all these years. It doesn't change what Tom did in the past as a musician. I think I read something like this in here somewhere: Its been the same person all along. Just now with a new name. Got going to lie though, its pretty weird to think about as a whole from the perspective of a long time fan. But you know, nothing is more in the true fashion of AM than going against the grain and doing what you believe in, regardless of the fallout. |

I think the concept album will be a solo work. The others might be AM tunes. Who knows? |

I think in the interview it said he went to the band and said their next album would be the concept, and during the revival tour he was saying those songs would be on the new album. Who knows. |

| As we all know, Just b/c AM! plays a song here and there doesn't mean it will be on the album.
