stupid nirvana they changed the music it's true but their sound sucks the thrash metal and glam metal sound is much better than this crap they have only let's say five nice songs and GNR could beat them easily come on imagine SLASH and Cobain in a guitar duel= slash would stick the guitar in his ass with his guitar playing.

kurt cobain seemed like a pretty cool dude, i just don't really care for most nirvana fans.

i don't actually know anyone who is a legit fan of gnr aside from 'the one jungle song".

I was pretty hardcore into both of them when I was 13.
And I know most people think, "you cant be that into a band when youre 13"

But holy shit.
Collectively, my brother and I have around a grand in Nirvana memorabilia and collectables.

I love GNR and Nirvana (and AM!), Axl and Kurt hated each other at the end (Axl was at first quite the fan), and I always kind of resented feeling like I had to take sides. I like them both, they are quite different styles and attitudes, but I grew up with GNR and Slash is one of my all-time fav guitar players.

Interesting idea for a thread though!
